We are approximately 48 hours out from the NCAA College Football National Championship Game, and one brand is already running up the score on its opponent. With their Sugar Bowl victory last week, the Washington Huskies made school and sportswear history. Thanks to the Huskies, adidas will be represented in the championship game for the first time in the CFP era.
To show its appreciation, adidas is showering the Huskies with free apparel, accessories, and sneakers. Best of all, Milwaukee Bucks guard and adidas signature athlete Damian Lillard hand-delivered the gifts. Check out the Instagram video below to see the players get hyped as they unbox all the goods.
As one of the players said, "It's a real good day to be a dog," and he was right. We can see in the video that the Huskies received the following goods:
- Footwear: adidas Dame 8 EXTPLY, adidas Crazy 8 ASW, adidas Adilette Comfort Slides, adidas Forum 84 Low, new UW x Alphaboost.
- Apparel: Mahomes x ZNE jacket, Mahomes x ZNE pants, Schmoofoil Satin Bombers, Schmoofoil Heavyweight pants.
- Accessories: OG Sling bag and sunglasses.
While it is often hard for Pac-12 schools to get love and attention, the Huskies have had no bigger supporter than adidas throughout the season. Adidas signed Michael Penix Jr. and Rome Odunze to NIL Deals this fall and immediately rolled out marketing campaigns promoting the dynamic duo for individual awards.
Fans have also been able to join in on the excitement during this historic season. Adidas has curated a wide selection of apparel and sneakers for Huskies fans. Online shoppers can check out the full selection by visiting the adidas website.
The partnership between adidas and the Huskies has been just as prolific as that between Penix and Odunze. Luckily for fans, neither pair of teammates are done making noise yet. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com to learn more about what your favorite athletes wear on and off the field.
