A rebuilding season combined with a ruthless schedule resulted in the Florida Gators being excluded from a bowl game. Despite their 5-7 record, there were plenty of highlights in Gainesville this year. Luckily for our readers, some of those moments involved the team's footwear.
Florida is one of ten college football programs sponsored by Jordan Brand. The honor of representing Jumpman on the gridiron means players and coaches will receive the most exclusive gear to come from the brand. Fans regularly drool over the player-exclusive footwear sported by Jordan Brand schools in the NCAA, and we have a new video that takes the cake.
Jamison McDivitt is a first-year student at the University of Florida, and the young digital creator put together one of the best videos we have seen this season. Check out the Instagram post below for a detailed look at the Gators football team's Air Jordan cleats.
Not only did McDivitt provide fans with a detailed look at all of the Gators' cleats, but he also shared a behind-the-scenes look at how he made the video. Let's be sure to give the talented content creator a follow on Instagram.
In the video, we can see the first, fifth, tenth, and thirteenth installments of the signature Air Jordan line. However, instead of basketball shoes, they were football cleats dressed in beautiful blue and orange colorways.
Unfortunately, the cleats shown in the video will never be released to the public. Chalk it up as a perk of playing for one of the most elite athletic programs in the NCAA. The silver lining is Gators fans can shop plenty of their school's Jordan Brand apparel and footwear on the Nike website.
We are confident that the Florida Gators football team will be back in the bowl season next year, and Jordan Brand will have them looking as sharp as ever. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news.
