We are less than a week out from the start of the new NBA season, and sneaker companies are gearing up for the action. Of the many different performance footwear brands in the industry, few seem to have as much fun as New Balance.

In addition to securing some of the most exciting young talent in the league, New Balance's flagship basketball line always releases in tremendous colorways. Earlier this month, the fourth installment of the TWO WXY line hit shelves, and sneakerheads are already being treated to another style.

Earlier this morning, the New Balance TWO WXY v4 was released in the 'Atmosphere' colorway. Online shoppers can purchase the shoes for $120 in adult sizes on the New Balance website and select retailers. Below is everything athletes and fans must know about the kicks.

The 'Atmosphere' colorway features a gradient mixture of colors called "bright sky with aura and summer aqua." Thanks to its unique design, the TWO WXY v4 makes the perfect canvas to tell new stories with fresh colorways.

In addition to looking good, the model plays even better. The TWO WXY v4 is the first New Balance basketball model to combine Fresh Foam X and FuelCell cushioning. The unique split sole design is built to support both quick lateral movement and high-impact takeoffs and landings. Lastly, the mesh and synthetic upper is lightweight with a secure, foot-hugging feel.

With the start of the NBA season almost here, sneakerheads can expect a lot more heat on the hardwood. Follow FanNation Kicks on social media, and check back daily for all your footwear news.
