Manchester City ended a UEFA Champions League group stage with six wins out of six games for the first time in the club's history on Wednesday.

Micah Hamilton, Oscar Bobb and Kalvin Phillips all scored their first goals for City in a 3-2 victory away at Red Star Belgrade.

City had beaten Red Star 3-1 in Manchester back in September.

Pep Guardiola's men then won home and away against RB Leipzig (3-2 and 3-1) and Young Boys (3-0 and 3-1) before wrapping up a perfect Group G campaign in Serbia.

City have now finished in first place in seven consecutive UCL group campaigns.

How Many Teams Have Won All Six Games In A Champions League Group?

Just two teams won all six of their games in this season's Champions League group stage - which is the final edition of the tournament before a new format will be introduced next year.

Real Madrid collected 18 points from their six matches against Napoli, Braga and Union Berlin.

Madrid also recorded the perfect 18 in the 2011/12 and 2014/15 seasons.

Liverpool became the first English club to win six out of six when they overcame Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and Porto in 2021/22.

The only other clubs to have achieved group stage perfection are AC Milan (1992/93), PSG (1994/15), Spartak Moscow (1995/96), Barcelona (2002/03), Bayern Munich (2019/20, 2021/22 and 2022/23) and Ajax (2021/22).
