Thirteen Real Madrid Stars Are At World Cup 2022 But Five Clubs Have More Players In Qatar
Almost one fifth of the 831 players called up by their respective national teams for the 2022 World Cup play their club football in England.
English clubs are represented by 163 players at Qatar 2022, while 86 players have come from clubs in Spain, 81 from Germany, 70 from Italy and 58 from France.
The league system in the United States has provided 35 players for the tournament, including those from Canadian-based clubs that play in MLS.

Bayern Munich are being represented at the World Cup by 17 players - more than any other club.
Of those 17 players, seven are in the Germany squad, including captain Manuel Neuer.
Bayern are also represented in the squads of Holland, Senegal, France, Canada, Croatia, Morocco and Cameroon.
Manchester City and Barcelona have 16 players each in Qatar.
City have five players in the England squad, three in Portugal's and two in Spain's.
Seven of Barca's 16 World Cup players are in the Spain squad, including four aged 21 or under - Eric Garcia, 21, Gavi, 18, Ansu Fati, 20, and Pedri, 19.
The non-European club with the most players at the World Cup is Qatar Stars League champions Al Sadd with 15.
Thirteen members of the Qatar national team squad play for Al Sadd, whose other World Cup players are representing South Korea and Ghana.
Manchester United have 14 players at the World Cup - one more than European champions Real Madrid.
Only two of Real's 13 World Cup players are representing Spain. Real have three players in the France squad, three in the Brazil squad and two in Belgium's.
Real also have players representing Germany, Croatia and Uruguay.
