Bruno Guimaraes Aims To Win Champions League At Newcastle United

Bruno Guimaraes has tipped Newcastle United to become a one of the best teams in the world... once they have avoided relegated from the Premier League.
Newcastle currently find themselves 19th in the table, having won just one of 21 league matches so far this season.
But big things are expected of the Magpies in the not too distant future.
After all, they are effectively the richest club on the planet following their Saudi Arabian-backed takeover late last year.
Guimaraes was the headline signing in a January window which also saw Kieran Trippier, Chris Wood and Dan Burn arrive on Tyneside.
While many have suggested that Burn and Wood may have been recruited as short-term solutions to save Newcastle from falling into the Championship, Guimaraes is looking further into the future and has much bigger ambitions.
"This is a club that is going to be a big power in world football," he said after arriving for a £35m transfer fee from Lyon, as reported by BBC Sport.

"This is an historic club with a great tradition and a beautiful history, I have no doubts about my decision to come to Newcastle."
But Guimaraes understands that his first three months will be all about survival, having been told by the owners to expect a battle.
He added: "They were very up front and honest about it.
"They didn't disguise that the main objective and challenge was remaining in the Premier League this season.
"But in the seasons coming, the objective is to be in the Champions League and eventually to win the Champions League."
Newcastle have not won a major trophy since lifting the now-defunct Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1969.
