Carlo Ancelotti expects to see out his contract at Real Madrid despite rumors claiming he might leave the club this summer.

The 63-year-old's current deal is not due to expire until June 2024 but multiple reports have suggested that he could resign or even be fired after a disappointing season.

Real won the Copa del Rey for the first time since 2014 but they have failed to retain their Champions League and La Liga titles.

Nevertheless, Ancelotti sounded defiant as he spoke to the media following Wednesday's 4-0 defeat at Manchester City.

"No one [at the club] doubts me," said the Italian.

"I think the president was very clear 15 days ago - this is a step to improve for next year.

"Next season I will be here to fight to win another Champions League."

Ancelotti is currently in his second spell as manager of Madrid, having returned to the club in June 2021, six years after his first two-season stint at the Bernabeu had ended.

Across those two spells, Ancelotti has led Madrid to 10 trophies.
