Christian Pulisic was dealt another injury setback towards the end of AC Milan's 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old USMNT star was seen holding his left hamstring after falling to the ground.

Pulisic was then substituted off for Alessandro Florenzi in stoppage time.

He had missed Milan's previous three matches with a thigh injury.

Pulisic is now likely to miss his country's two-legged CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final against Trinidad and Tobago later this month.

He had played well before injury struck on Tuesday.

As well as posing a regular attacking threat he did an excellent defensive job to help keep Kylian Mbappe quiet at the San Siro.

PSG took an early lead courtesy of a Milan Skriniar goal against his former club.

But Milan equalized almost straight away thanks to a stunning bicycle kick from Rafael Leao.

Olivier Giroud then scored the winner five minutes into the second half.

Tuesday's win took Milan onto five points from a possible 12 in Champions League Group F.

Milan now sit third, behind PSG on six points and Borussia Dortmund on seven points.

Newcastle are last with four points.
