Cristiano Ronaldo's Son, Cristiano Jr, Lifts Saudi U13 Premier League Trophy While Wearing Captain's Armband
Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr side look unlikely to win the Saudi Pro League title this season as they currently trail unbeaten leaders Al-Hilal by nine points with 12 rounds of fixtures remaining.
But the club's under-13 team, led by Ronaldo's eldest son, Cristiano Jr, won their league last month, three weeks before their final fixture.
That final fixture took place on Sunday when Cristiano Jr and Co ended their Saudi U13 Premier League campaign by beating Al-Shabab 2-0.
After the game, Al Nassr's junior stars were presented with their prize.
Cristiano Jr - who was wearing the captain's armband and the no.7 jersey just like his dad - was the first player to get his hands on the shiny gold trophy.
He also featured prominently in a post on the club's official Instagram account.
Five photos - including one of Cristiano Jr posing with the trophy - were captioned: "Present Champions. Future stars".
Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez - who is not Cristiano Jr's biological mother - replied with a heart emoji followed by a crown.
Rodriguez later shared a photo of Cristiano Jr via her Instagram story alongside the words: "Mini The best CR".
Meanwhile, Ronaldo responded by sharing two photos of his son on his Instagram story with the message: "Congrats team!"
Cristiano Jr was born in California in 2010 to a surrogate mother. He will turn 14 on June 17.
He signed for Al Nassr last year, having previously played at junior level for Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
