Dani Carvajal and Eduardo Camavinga will both be suspended for Real Madrid's next La Liga game after being carded in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Rayo Vallecano.

Carvajal was sent off for the third time in his La Liga career when he picked up a second yellow card in the 95th minute for lashing out at Kike Perez following a foul by the Rayo midfielder.

His first booking of the day had been for dissent.

Camavinga was also booked for dissent and will now serve a one-match ban after collecting five yellow cards in the league this season.

Joselu fired Madrid into an early lead against Rayo but Raul de Tomas hit back from the penalty spot to earn the home team a point.

Highlights: Rayo Vallecano 1-1 Real Madrid

Madrid's next game is against Sevilla on February 25 and manager Carlo Ancelotti looks set to have some major selection issues in defensive areas.

As well as missing right-back Carvajal and defensive midfielder Camavinga through suspension, Madrid will be without Eder Militao, David Alaba and Thibaut Courtois against Sevilla.

Central defenders Militao and Alaba are both currently recovering from cruciate ligament tears, as is goalkeeper Courtois.

Midfielder Jude Bellingham will also be unavailable for Madrid's trip to Sevilla due to an ankle sprain, while center-back Antonio Rudiger is a fitness doubt.
