David De Gea Wins Premier League Golden Glove After Keeping 16th Clean Sheet
David de Gea won the Golden Glove on Saturday after keeping his 16th clean sheet of the Premier League season in Manchester United's 2-0 win over Wolves.
The Spaniard is the sixth goalkeeper to land the award more than once, having previously won it with 18 shutouts in the 2017/18 season.
Petr Cech and Joe Hart have each won four Golden Gloves, Ederson and Pepe Reina have three apiece, while Alisson Becker is a two-time winner.
Liverpool stopper Alisson could still share the prize with De Gea this season, as could Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale and Newcastle's Nick Pope.
Alisson, Ramsdale and Pope each currently have 13 EPL clean sheets to their name with three fixtures left to play.
For one of them to share the prize with De Gea they would have to keep a clean sheet in all of their remaining matches and hope that United concede in all three of theirs.
De Gea was presented with his trophy at Old Trafford by former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
