Erling Haaland maintained his 100% EPL penalty conversion rate as Manchester City won 1-0 at Crystal Palace. But what about Haaland's career penalty record?

Crystal Palace 0-1 Manchester City

Erling Haaland converted a 78th-minute penalty as Manchester City won ugly at Crystal Palace on Saturday night.

City dominated possession with 68% of the ball but only recorded four shots on target.

Meanwhile, Palace registered zero shots on target for the third game in a row to set an unwanted Premier League record.

It looked like Palace could become the third team this season - after Liverpool and Tottenham - to keep an EPL clean sheet against City until Ilkay Gundogan was fouled by a tired Michael Olise.

Gundogan is himself an expert penalty taker but he allowed Haaland to do the honors from 12 yards.

Haaland has now scored 28 Premier League goals in 26 appearances.

Five of those goals have come from penalties.

Including those five, Haaland has successfully converted each of his last 16 penalties for City, Norway and former club Borussia Dortmund.

Haaland has a 100% penalty conversion rate for City (5/5), while his overall career record from the spot is now 31 goals from 33 attempts.
