Euro 2024 Knockout Phase
The top two teams in each group will all qualify for the knockout phase of Euro 2024, along with the four third-placed teams with the most points.
Teams that faced each other in the group stage cannot meet again in the round of 16. This makes the bracket more complicated than in some tournaments.
However, we know for certain that the winner of Group A will play the runner-up from Group C in the last 16, while the Group D winner will face the second-placed team from Group F.
Elsewhere, the runners-up from Group A and Group B will meet each other. The same applies for the runners-up in Group D and Group E.
If England win Group C then Gareth Southgate's side will not face another group winner until the semi-finals at the earliest.
