Palmeiras forward Endrick has been called up to the Brazil men's national team for this month's two World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Colombia.

The 17-year-old has been in fine form for Palmeiras in recent weeks and has scored three goals in his last two Serie A games.

Despite his tender age, Endrick - who wears the no.9 jersey for his current club - has already made more than 50 first-team appearances for Palmeiras.

However, he is set to leave the Sao Paulo club following his 18th birthday in July.

Endrick has already agreed his transfer to Real Madrid but Brazilian players cannot move to European clubs prior to turning 18.

According to a report by GOAL in December last year when Endrick's future move was agreed, Real will pay €72 million in transfer-related fees.

Palmeiras are set to receive €35m up front, plus a further €25m in add-ons. Real must also pay €12m in taxes.

Endrick was not the only uncapped player named in Brazil interim head coach Fernando Diniz's latest squad.

Brighton striker Joao Pedro was also named in the 24-man party.

Although he has not yet played for Brazil at senior level, Pedro has previously represented his country in the U23 age group.

Pedro has scored six goals in 13 games for Brighton this season.
