Gabriel Jesus Returns To Arsenal Action After Missing Previous 15 Games With Knee Injury
Gabriel Jesus made his first appearance for Arsenal since November when he came on as a substitute during Sunday's Premier League win at Fulham.
The former Manchester City striker had featured in 20 Arsenal games before the World Cup but then missed his club's last 15 matches with a knee injury.
Jesus suffered that injury during Qatar 2022 in a game between Brazil and Cameroon.
Without Jesus, Arsenal had won nine of their first 15 games since the World Cup, drawing two and losing three.
The Gunners were already leading 3-0 at Fulham when Jesus entered Sunday's game in the 77th minute.
He almost marked his return with a goal eight minutes later but was denied by a good save by Fulham keeper Bernd Leno.
After the match, Jesus tweeted: "So happy to be back. And feels like I never left... What a win from this group! Let's go, Gunners!"
