Georgina Rodriguez has slammed rumors claiming that her relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo is on the rocks.

Recent reports in Spain suggested that Ronaldo, 38, was unhappy with his partner because the 29-year-old model had become less interested in family life after her Netflix show Soy Georgina was recommissioned for a second series.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez moved to Saudi Arabia earlier this year when the former Real Madrid star signed for Al Nassr.

They are spending most of their time in the Middle East although they often travel to Europe when Ronaldo gets consecutive days off.

It was reported by Marca on Wednesday that Ronaldo and Rodriguez "had a monumental shouting match" in front of multiple people at an airport during one of their recent trips together.

After days of public speculation about her relationship with Ronaldo, Rodriguez hit back via Instagram earlier this week.

Posting on her Story, she wrote in Spanish: "The envious invent the rumor, the gossip spreads it and the idiot believes it."

Rodriguez was quoting lyrics from the Romeo Santos song If I Die but it was pretty clear what she was referring to.

Ronaldo was in action on the pitch on Friday when he scored his first goal in four matches to help Al Nassr beat Al Raed 4-0 in the Saudi Pro League.
