Harry Kane Breaks Bundesliga Record By Scoring 20 Goals In First 14 Games For Bayern Munich

Harry Kane set a new Bundesliga record by scoring 20 goals in his first 14 games for Bayern Munich. Kane's 19th and 20th goals came in a 3-0 win over Stuttgart.

Harry Kane scored the 19th and 20th goals of his Bundesliga career as Bayern Munich beat Stuttgart 3-0 at the Allianz Arena.

Kane opened the scoring 81 seconds into Sunday's game when he shot into an empty net after Stuttgart keeper Alexander Nubel had been beaten by Leroy Sane on the edge of the penalty area.

Thomas Muller and Kim Min-jae then had goals disallowed for offside before Kane doubled Bayern's lead in the 55th minute with a header from close range.

Kim later wrapped up a convincing victory with his first goal for Bayern.

Kane's first 20 Bundesliga goals have come in just 14 matches.

Uwe Seeler had previously held the record for getting to 20 Bundesliga goals in the fewest number of games by reaching the landmark after 21 matches in the 1963/64 season.

Meanwhile, it took Erling Haaland 22 games to get the first 20 goals of his Bundesliga career with Borussia Dortmund.

Despite Kane's record-breaking form in front of goal this season, Bayern are only second in the league table right now.

Title rivals Bayer Leverkusen also won on Sunday, beating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 at the BayArena.

Leverkusen currently top the table with 39 points after 15 matches. Bayern have 35 points from 14 games.
