Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur ended the 2022/23 season by winning 4-1 at Leeds United on Sunday.

Kane's brace took his tally of Premier League goals for the campaign to 30, making him only the second player ever to reach the landmark more than once.

The Spurs striker also hit 30 goals in the 2017/18 season.

Remarkably, neither of Kane's 30-goal seasons resulted in him winning the Golden Boot.

He was pipped to the prize by Liverpool's Mohamed Salah in 2017/18, before Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland won this season's award with a record-breaking 36 goals.

Alan Shearer is the only other player to have reached the 30-goal mark in multiple EPL seasons, having got there in 1993/94, 1994/95 and 1995/96.

Kane, who will celebrate his 30th birthday in July, has now scored 213 Premier League goals in total.

He needs another 48 to break Shearer's all-time record of 260.
