Kylian Mbappe posed for a photo with Real Madrid forward Rodrygo in a nightclub in Italy on Friday night.

Rodrygo uploaded the picture to his Instagram Story with the caption: "KM" followed by a fire emoji.

Mbappe, 24, and Rodrygo, 22, are said to be friends away from the pitch.

But according to Relevo, their meeting in Sardinia was a coincidence rather than a planned get-together.

Nevertheless, it will add fuel to rumors that the two players could soon become teammates at Real Madrid.

Mbappe was put up for sale by Paris Saint-Germain last month after refusing to extend his contract, which is due to expire in June 2024.

He has since rejected a move to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

Mbappe has said that he intends to remain in Paris until the end of the 2023/24 season, but PSG want to sell him now to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer.

It is widely understood that Mbappe wishes to join Real Madrid when his PSG contract expires.

Rodrygo has been a Madrid player since 2019 when he arrived from Santos in his native Brazil.
