Messi scored PSG's opening goal against Nantes at the Parc des Princes.

It was the 799th goal of his career in all competitions.

Messi found the net in the 12th minute with a neat near-post finish after making a late run into the box to get on the end of a Nuno Mendes cross.

A Jaouen Hadjam own goal doubled PSG's lead five minutes later but Nantes were level by half-time after strikes from Ludovic Blas and Ignatius Ganago.

PSG retook the lead thanks to a Danilo Pereira goal set up by Kylian Mbappe on the hour-mark.

Mbappe then netted himself in stoppage time to seal a 4-2 victory and become PSG's all-time leading scorer.
