What is the biggest rivalry in the Premier League? The answer will depend on who you ask but many neutrals will likely say that it is Liverpool vs Manchester United.

Liverpool have dominated this rivalry in recent years - winning six, drawing three and losing just one of their last 10 EPL games against the Red Devils.

That run of results includes 4-0, 5-0 and 7-0 victories since October 2021.

However, United are still way ahead in terms of league games won since the EPL was formed in 1992.

In 62 Premier League meetings, United have claimed three points on 29 occasions, while Liverpool have recorded 19 wins and there have been 14 draws.

United are also miles in front in terms of titles, having won the Premier League 13 times - 12 more than Liverpool.

But remarkably, despite having 10 fewer wins than United, Liverpool have actually scored more goals than their fierce rivals when they have gone head to head.

If you were to add up the scores from the first 62 Premier League games between Liverpool and United then the aggregate result would be 84-81 in favor of the men from Anfield.
