Marcus Rashford has signed a new contract with Manchester United.

The deal ties the England striker to the Old Trafford club until the summer of 2028.

According to the Daily Mail, Rashford will now earn £300,000 per week at United.

That equates to an annual salary of £15.6 million, meaning that Rashford will make £78m over five years if he stays with the Red Devils for the duration of his contract.

Rashford has been at United since the age of seven and has scored 123 goals in 359 first-team games for the club.

The 25-year-old told ManUtd.com on Tuesday: "It's a huge honour to play in front of these fans every week, and it's something that you never get bored of or tired of.

"So, we're going to keep giving 100 per cent and keep trying to improve because I think the team's got a lot of growth in us. We desperately just want to win trophies."

He added: "The days that I remember watching when I was a kid, we want to try and bring those days back.

"And I think step by step, especially last season, we took a lot of steps in the right direction.

"So, hopefully we can keep pushing and the aim is to get that Premier League trophy and the Champions League."
