Inter Milan 3-1 Lazio

Inter Milan came from behind to beat Lazio in Sunday's early Serie A game after Romelu Lukaku produced two second-half assists at the San Siro.

Felipe Anderson fired Lazio ahead on the half-hour mark shortly after a VAR review had disallowed a goal from Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

But Inter fought back with two goals from Lautaro Martinez and one from fellow substitute Robin Gosens.

Inter's equalizer arrived in the 78th minute when Lukaku held off Alessio Romagnoli before rolling a through pass for Martinez inside the penalty area.

Lukaku's second assist was a perfectly-judged cross from the right that was met by Gosens with a flying volley at the far post.

Martinez made sure of the win with a slightly scrappy goal in the 90th minute.

Inter's win boosted their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League as it took them up to fourth place, above Roma and AC Milan on goal difference.

The result also meant that Napoli would be confirmed as champions of Italy if they were to beat Salernitana later on Sunday.

Napoli fans were naturally delighted by Lazio's defeat but a 1-1 draw with Salernitana kept them waiting.
