Rasmus Hojlund will wear the no.11 on his back during his first season as a Manchester United player.

United published an updated list of squad numbers on Sunday morning, hours before their trip to Arsenal in the Premier League.

Hojlund is expected to make his Premier League debut against the Gunners.

United's no.11 jersey was last worn by Mason Greenwood, who recently left Old Trafford to join Getafe.

Greenwood moved to Getafe on a loan deal until June 2024. He is under contract at Old Trafford until June 2025. However, it is understood that Greenwood will never play for United again.

United made four signings on transfer deadline day and three of them were given squad numbers on Sunday.

New goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was given the no.1 jersey, while defenders Sergio Reguilion and Jonny Evans received no.15 and no.35 respectively.

Fellow deadline day signing Sofyan Amrabat has not yet been given a squad number.

But Alejandro Garnacho received an upgrade on Sunday.

After previous stints as United's no.75 and no.49, Garnacho has now replaced Fred in the no.17 jersey.

Fred left United after five seasons last month when he joined Turkish club Fenerbahce.

New Manchester United Squad Numbers

  • 1. Altay Bayindir
  • 11. Rasmus Hojlund
  • 15. Sergio Reguilion
  • 17. Alejandro Garnacho
  • 35. Jonny Evans
