Inter Miami player Robert Taylor attended a Halloween party over the weekend dressed as Lionel Messi's personal bodyguard Yassine Chueko.

Alongside three photos of himself in his Chueko outfit - which included a fake beard, a swimming cap to make him look bald and padded arms to resemble muscles - Taylor wrote on Instagram: "Work never stops".

Taylor tagged Chueko in his post and the man himself replied with laughing and applause emojis.

Chueko has become famous among the Major League Soccer community since he was hired by Inter Miami owner David Beckham to look after star man Messi.

Part of Chueko's job is to run around the outside of the pitch and effectively man-mark Messi during games. This is so that he is able to intercept any pitch invaders who attempt to get close to the Miami captain.

Chueko was called upon to deal with pitch invaders on multiple occasions during the 2023 season.

He also guards Messi before and after matches, as well as when he is out and about with his family in public - for example, when they go shopping.

Finland international Taylor - who can play in midfield, up front or as a wing-back - was one of Miami's best players in 2023.

The 29-year-old scored eight goals and provided nine assists.

Messi, 36, scored 11 goals and made five assists after arriving from Paris Saint-Germain midway through the season.
