UEFA Europa League Draw: Liverpool to Face Sparta Prague in Round of 16, Brighton Paired With Roma
The draw for the UEFA Europa League round of 16 has been made. The first tie drawn was Liverpool vs. Sparta Prague. Brighton and Roma were then paired together.
The draw for the round of 16 in the UEFA Europa League took place in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday.
The first tie drawn was Liverpool vs. Sparta Prague. The Reds beat the Czech side 1-0 on aggregate in the Europa League back in 2011.
Elsewhere in Friday's draw, Brighton & Hove Albion were paired with Italian giants Roma, who lost to Sevilla in last season's UEL final.
West Ham United will take on Freiburg of Germany, while Rangers will clash with Portuguese champions Benfica.
All four British clubs were seeded in Friday's draw after finishing first in their respective groups, so they will play at home in the second legs.
The first legs will take place on March 7, with the second legs being held seven days later.
