England lifted their second trophy in just over six months after winning the Arnold Clark Cup this week.

The Euro 2022 champions thrashed Belgium 6-1 in their final game on Wednesday, following 2-1 and 4-0 wins over Italy and South Korea respectively earlier in the mini-league event.

England will be hoping to complete a treble of trophies by winning the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, but they will have to do so without home advantage.

Both Euro 2022 and the Arnold Clark Cup were held in England, while the 2023 World Cup will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

Despite having never won a major tournament held outside of England, the Lionesses are currently rated as second favorites to win the World Cup, which will start on July 20 and end with the final on August 20.

England's toughest challenge at the World Cup is expected to come if and when they face the USA.

The USWNT also won a trophy this week when a 2-1 victory over Brazil sealed a fourth consecutive SheBelieves Cup title.

Vlatko Andonovski's side had earlier beaten Canada 2-0 and Japan 1-0.

2023 Women's World Cup Favorites

England are said to have a 22.2% chance, while Spain (13.3%), Germany (12.5%), France (10%) and Australia (7.7%) are also rated among the top contenders.
