Shocking Footage Emerges Showing Mexico Fan Being Stabbed Amid Crowd Violence During Gold Cup Game At Levi's Stadium

Sunday's CONCACAF Gold Cup game between Mexico and Qatar at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara was marred by violent clashes in the crowd.
Fighting broke out near the end of the game in an area of the stadium that was mostly occupied by Mexico supporters.
Shocking footage of a brawl has gone viral on social media and seems to show a man holding a knife above his head.
In one video, that man is seen thrusting a weapon in a stabbing motion before being pushed to the ground.
Another man, wearing a Mexico jersey featuring the no.22 on both the front and back, later staggers away and sits down on a nearby seat.
This man, who is covered in blood, then removes his shirt and appears to realize that he has been stabbed.
He is later seen using his jersey to attempt to stop the blood flowing from his upper chest.
After police arrived on the scene, the man was escorted to a nearby hospital. He was said to be in a critical but stable condition on Tuesday morning.
Multiple images from inside the stadium show pools of blood on the floor.
Santa Clara police have identified one suspect and another person of interest.
According to a police statement: "The suspect is described as a Hispanic, male adult, between 25 – 35 years old, with short dark-colored hair, a thin mustache and a thin beard.
"He was last seen wearing a green-colored Mexican national team soccer jersey. The suspect was with a Hispanic, female adult with dark-colored hair and a similar Mexican national team soccer jersey. At this time, the female is a person of interest.
"SCPD is seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If you recognize the suspect or the person of interest, please do not attempt to apprehend them.

On the pitch on Sunday, Qatar beat Mexico 1-0. That result saw both teams progress to the quarter-finals.
Qatar scored from their only shot of the game, while Mexico failed to find the net despite registering 25 attempts.
