Leeds United now have three USMNT stars on their current roster after signing midfielder Weston McKennie on an initial loan from Juventus.

The 24-year-old's loan deal will run until the end of the season when Leeds will have an option to sign him permanently for a transfer fee of around £30 million.

McKennie, who has 41 senior international caps to his name, joins fellow Americans Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams at Elland Road.

Leeds are also managed by former USA midfielder Jesse Marsch.

Speaking to Sky Sports shortly after arriving at Leeds, McKennie said: "I'm definitely excited. The winter transfer window works quick, so around the time I heard that it was ready to happen I was like: 'Oh gosh'.

"I was literally one week ago not knowing if was going anywhere and now I'm coming here.

"When I heard of the interest [from Leeds] it was definitely exciting.

"I have people here that I know... Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson, Jesse Marsch.

"I'm just ready to get started. I've heard that the support here is amazing."

McKennie will wear the no.28 jersey at Leeds and could make his EPL debut in Sunday's game against Nottingham Forest.
