Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy Ignores Bayern Munich's 'Final Offer' For Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly failed to respond to Bayern Munich's latest offer for Harry Kane.
It was widely claimed earlier this week that the German champions had submitted a bid for Kane worth more than €100 million, including add-ons.
In an attempt to take control of the negotiations, Bayern apparently insisted that this was their final offer and even set a deadline for Spurs to respond.
But that deadline has since passed and Levy did not even acknowledge the offer before he flew from London to the United States this weekend, according to The Telegraph.
Kane is said to be keen for his future to be resolved before Tottenham's first Premier League game of the season takes place on August 13.
Meanwhile, it had been Bayern's desire to sign Kane in time for him to make his debut in the German Super Cup next weekend. That now seems unlikely.
The 30-year-old England captain is under contract with Spurs until June 2024.
If Kane stays at Spurs this summer but does not sign a new deal then Bayern - or any other non-English club - will be able to reach a pre-contract agreement with the player in January before taking him on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Kane has said that he will not agree a new contract at Spurs this summer, although he has not ruled out extending his deal midway through the season if he is suitably impressed by the direction of the team under new manager Ange Postecoglou.
