Harry Kane's wife was reportedly spotted in Munich this week.

England captain Kane is currently in Thailand on a pre-season tour with the rest of Tottenham's first-team squad.

The 29-year-old is expected to feature on Sunday when Spurs take on Leicester in a friendly in Bangkok.

But Kane's long-term future may lie away from Spurs.

Bayern Munich want to sign Kane, who has less than 12 months remaining on his current contract.

According to German newspaper BILD, Kane's wife Kate - along with some other family members - recently traveled to Munich to check out the city and some possible homes in case a summer transfer materializes.

Kane and his partner are childhood sweethearts. They currently have three children and are expecting the arrival of a fourth later this year.

Bayern are understood to be determined to sign Kane this summer, rather than waiting until the end of the 2023/24 season when the striker will be available on a free transfer if he does not sign a new contract with Tottenham.

Honorary Bayern president Uli Hoeness recently told Sport1: "Kane has clearly signaled in all conversations that his decision stands - and if it stays then we'll get him."

Hoeness - who claims to have held talks with Kane's agent and brother Charlie - added: "He wants to play in Europe and luckily for us Tottenham will not be next year.

"He now has another opportunity to come to a top club in Europe."
