Joao Cancelo is on his way to Bayern Munich after reportedly falling out with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

Cancelo was one of Guardiola's most important players last season when he started in 36 of City's 38 Premier League games.

The Portuguese full-back has been named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year in each of the past two seasons.

However, Cancelo has not started in any of City's last three matches.

According to the Daily Mail, Cancelo and Guardiola were involved in a training ground bust-up.

It is alleged that Cancelo recently reacted angrily when he discovered that he would not be starting against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

After apparently threatening to leave the club, Cancelo is said to have informed City of interest from Bayern.

City then agreed an initial loan deal with Bayern, who will have an option to sign Cancelo permanently for around £61 million at the end of the season.

Cancelo has made 98 EPL appearances for City, scoring five goals and providing 11 assists.
