Liverpool Plot Kylian Mbappe Loan Offer After PSG Forward Refuses To Talk With Al-Hilal
Kylian Mbappe is being lined up for a sensational move to the Premier League with Liverpool keen to sign the Paris Saint-Germain forward on loan.
The 24-year-old was put up for sale by PSG earlier this summer after refusing to extend his contract at the Parc des Princes.
His current deal is due to expire in June 2024.
Mbappe has said that he wishes to remain at PSG until then, while it is widely believed that he intends to join Real Madrid on a free transfer 11 months from now.
PSG are determined to stop Mbappe becoming a free agent and recently accepted a world-record offer from Al-Hilal.
But Mbappe was apparently unwilling to talk with Al-Hilal as he has no interest in considering a move to Saudi Arabia.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool hope to capitalize on PSG's weak position by offering to sign Mbappe on a season-long loan deal.
The Reds are said to be willing to pay PSG a significant loan fee, although it would be nowhere near the reported €300 million offered by Al-Hilal.
After spending the 2023/24 season at Anfield, Mbappe would then be free to complete his dream move to Madrid.
Mbappe has held talks with Liverpool before.
He revealed in an interview with The Telegraph last year: "We talked a little bit, but not too much. We talked a little bit.
"I talked to Liverpool because it's the favorite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don't know why, you will have to ask her!
"It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club."
Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, is also his agent.
