Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign 19-year-old England midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer.

According to BBC Sport, Real will pay Dortmund €100 million and the player will sign a six-year contract at the Bernabeu.

That transfer fee will make Bellingham the third most expensive teenager in the history of world soccer, after Joao Felix (€126m) and Kylian Mbappe (€180m).

Bellingham scored 12 goals and provided 15 assists in three Bundesliga seasons for Dortmund.

He played five times for England at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Bellingham, who joined Dortmund from Birmingham City for around €29m in 2020, had also been wanted by Liverpool and Manchester City.

But Liverpool dropped out due to the costs involved. Reds manager Jurgen Klopp said in April that his club's interest in Bellingham was like a "child wanting a Ferrari for Christmas".

Bellingham will be the sixth Englishman to play for Real, after Laurie Cunningham, Steve McManaman, David Beckham, Michael Owen and Jonathan Woodgate.
