Roberto Firmino Will Leave Liverpool On Free Transfer In June
Roberto Firmino has decided to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
The Brazilian striker moved to Anfield from Hoffenheim in 2015 for a fee in excess of £20 million.
But he is set to depart on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of June.
Firmino, 31, has made more than 350 appearances for Liverpool and scored over 100 goals.
Nine of those goals have come this season but Firmino has not started a game since the World Cup.
According to Sky Sports, Firmino informed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp that this season will be his last at Anfield when they spoke on Friday.
It is claimed that Klopp was keen for Firmino to stay but was respectful of his decision.
Firmino has won six different team trophies during his Liverpool career, including the Premier League, Champions League, and FIFA Club World Cup.
