Al-Ittihad 4-0 Abha

Al-Ittihad forward Abderrazak Hamdallah became the first player to reach 20 goals in the Saudi Pro League this season when he found the net with a long-range header in a 4-0 win over Abha on Monday.

The Al-Ittihad no.9 beat Abha goalkeeper Devis Epassy to a lofted through pass before powerfully nodding the ball into his unguarded net from 30 yards.

Romarinho scored either side of Hamdallah's unusual strike before Mohammed Al-Saiari completed the rout with a late penalty kick.

Al-Ittihad's victory moved them five points clear of Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr at the top of the table.

Al Nassr had been held to a 1-1 draw by Al-Khaleej earlier on Monday.

Both Al Nassr and Al-Ittihad now have four matches remaining this season.

Al Nassr are effectively 5.5 points behind Al-Ittihad as the current leaders have a superior head-to-head record.
