Manchester United and Arsenal each found the net from their first shot on target during a remarkable two-minute burst of action in Sunday's Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium.

United took the lead against the run of play in the 27th minute when Christian Eriksen set up Marcus Rashford for a brilliant counter-attacking goal.

But the Red Devils led for just 111 seconds.

Arsenal hit back within 35 seconds of the restart courtesy of a slick team move finished off by captain Martin Odegaard.

Arsenal were later awarded a penalty kick 14 minutes into the second half after Aaron Wan-Bissaka was adjudged to have fouled Kai Havertz.

But following a VAR review, referee Anthony Taylor changed his mind and the spot-kick was unawarded.

A major VAR call then went in Arsenal's favor in the 89th minute.

Alejandro Garnacho thought that he had won the game for United but replays showed that he had been marginally offside when Casemiro played the ball into his path.

Instead, it was Arsenal who won it late on thanks to Declan Rice's first goal for the club in the sixth minute of added time.

Rice's late strike made it 2-1 to the Gunners before Gabriel Jesus wrapped up a 3-1 victory six minutes later.
