Barcelona recorded their 20th La Liga win of the season by beating Valencia 1-0 in front of 89,644 fans at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

Raphinha scored the only goal of the game in the 15th minute when he met a superb lofted through pass from Sergio Busquets with a brave header.

Barca had a major chance to double their lead early in the second half when a Hugo Guillamon handball resulted in a penalty kick.

But Ferran Torres failed to convert from 12 yards as his shot clipped the outside of the post on its way wide.

Barca received another set back just before the hour-mark when Ronald Araujo was shown a straight red card for a last-man foul on Hugo Duro.

But 10-man Barca held on for a deserved victory which took them to 62 points from 24 matches.
