Cole Palmer Scores First EPL Goal As Chelsea Thrash Burnley
Cole Palmer scored the first Premier League goal of his career as Chelsea came from behind to beat Burnley 4-1 on Saturday.
Palmer - making only his second EPL start since joining Chelsea from Manchester City on September 1 - confidently converted a penalty kick in the 50th minute after Raheem Sterling had been fouled by Vitinho.
Sterling was Chelsea's star man at Turf Moor.
It was Sterling's deflected cross that resulted in an Ameen Al-Dakhil own goal drawing Chelsea level just before half-time.
Sterling then scored himself to make it 3-1 to the Blues with a clean left-footed strike in the 65th minute.
The former Liverpool and Man City winger was also involved in Chelsea's fourth goal. It was scored by Nicolas Jackson and assisted by Conor Gallagher after Sterling had roasted Burnley right-back Dara O'Shea.
All of this happened after Wilson Odobert had given Burnley an early lead by becoming the youngest EPL scorer in the club's history.
