Conor Gallagher scored two goals against his former club as Chelsea came from behind to win 3-1 at Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Gallagher spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Palace and netted eight goals for the Selhurst Park outfit.

But he had not scored in 22 EPL appearances for Chelsea this season before bagging a second-half brace at his old stomping ground.

Gallagher's goals came after Jefferson Lerma had fired the Eagles ahead with a fabulous long-range strike on the half-hour mark.

Chelsea performed much better after the interval and equalized in the 47th minute when Gallagher produced a stylish finish following a cross from Malo Gusto.

The Blues then went ahead in the first minute of added time when Gallagher drilled home a low shot from 18 yards after being teed up by Cole Palmer.

Palmer recorded another assist 180 seconds later as Enzo Fernandez cooly wrapped up Chelsea's second away win in six days.

Chelsea's latest victory saw Mauricio Pochettino's side climb to 10th place in the Premier League table - 10 points ahead of Palace in 15th.
