Ex-Barcelona winger Cristian Tello scored a brilliant goal 12 minutes into his Saudi Pro League debut for Al Fateh against Al Nassr on Friday.

Tello was not the only former La Liga star involved in the game as Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo was captaining Al Nassr.

Many fans at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium had showed up hoping to see Ronaldo score his first Saudi Pro League goal.

But first they were treated to a superb volleyed strike from Tello in the first half.

Tello, 31, joined Al Fateh from Los Angeles Galaxy in January.

Al Fateh are the sixth club of his senior career. He also played for Porto, Fiorentina and Real Betis.

Tello's wondergoal was not enough to see Al Fateh beat Al Nassr.

Ronaldo converted a stoppage-time penalty kick to tie the game at 2-2 after Talisca and Sofiane Bendebka had also found the net.
