Cristiano Ronaldo And Sadio Mane Extend Scoring Streaks As Al Nassr Win At Al-Raed
Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane were among the goals as Al Nassr won 3-1 at Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday.
Both players have now found the net in four consecutive matches for the Riyadh club.
Ronaldo is the leading scorer in this season's Saudi Pro League with seven goals in five games, while Mane is second with six in six.
Mane fired Al Nassr in front in first-half stoppage time on Saturday with a low strike from 18 yards.
Al-Raed were reduced to 10 men moments later when Bander Whaeshi was shown a straight red card for a last-man foul on Mane.
Former Benfica forward Talisca then made Al Nassr's numerical advantage count early in the second half with a stunning strike from long range.
Ronaldo's goal arrived in the 78th minute when he delivered a powerful left-footed shot from 15 yards after beating defender Oumar Gonzalez with a sharp turn.
Al-Raed denied Al Nassr a third league clean sheet of the season when Mohamed Fouzair converted a late penalty kick.
But Al Nassr have now won four Saudi Pro League games in a row, after losing their first two matches of the 2023/24 campaign.
