Al Nassr fell to their second defeat since signing Cristiano Ronaldo when they lost 1-0 at Saudi Pro League title rivals Al-Ittihad on Thursday.

The result saw Al-Ittihad replace Al Nassr at the top of the table.

Romarinho scored the only goal of the game in the 80th minute after being set up by Ahmed Sharahili.

Ronaldo was kept very quiet against a defense that has now conceded just six times in 20 league matches this season.

But the 38-year-old did force the Al-Ittihad keeper into a smart save with a powerful left-footed strike in added time.

Both teams went into Thursday's game having lost only once all season in the league.

But Al Nassr had also lost to Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup in January in Ronaldo's second game for the club.

Ronaldo was visibly furious after the final whistle on Thursday.

He was seen angrily muttering to himself and his teammates as he stormed off the field while players from Al-Ittihad celebrated in front of their home fans.

However, Ronaldo did make sure that he applauded Al Nassr's supporters before leaving the pitch in a huff.
