Cristiano Ronaldo was visibly annoyed with son Cristiano Jr after the 13-year-old did not shake hands with the Al Nassr first team before Saturday's Saudi Pro League game against Al Fateh.

Cristiano Jr led Al Nassr's U13 side onto the field at Al-Awwal Park shortly before kick-off.

He and his young teammates were then paraded in front of the crowd to celebrate their recent title victory in the Saudi U13 Premier League.

Part of Saturday's short pre-match ceremony also saw the U13 players shake hands with their senior counterparts, including 39-year-old Ronaldo.

Former Real Madrid frontman Ronaldo gave a warm greeting to each young player who crossed his path.

However, Cristiano Jr - who was wearing the no.7 jersey like his father - walked in a different direction than his teammates and therefore bypassed the handshake line.

His dad was visibly annoyed and was seen shouting at his firstborn.

Ronaldo Sr's mood seemingly improved after the game kicked off, especially following his first Saudi Pro League goal of 2024, which arrived in the 17th minute.

That was the 875th goal of his senior career and it also saw him move clear of great rival Lionel Messi in terms of non-penalty goals.

Al Fateh equalized before half-time thanks to a goal from Salem Al-Najdi.

But Al Nassr went on to win 2-1 after Otavio headed home from a cross in the 72nd minute following a Ronaldo pre-assist.
