Diogo Dalot Rescues Under-Par Manchester United With Superb Winning Goal In Sheffield
Diogo Dalot scored a superb goal from 25 yards to rescue a stuttering Manchester United at Bramall Lane on Saturday night.
The Red Devils appeared to be heading towards a disappointing draw with Sheffield United until Dalot fired his side 2-1 ahead in the 77th minute.
After collecting a pass from Victor Lindelof, Dalot turned sharply and unleashed a fabulous curling strike into the top corner of Wes Foderingham's net.
This was the Portugal full-back's first goal of the season.
It came after an Oliver McBurnie penalty kick had canceled out Scott McTominay's opener during an even first half.
Saturday's 2-1 away win saw Erik ten Hag's side rise to eighth place in the Premier League table.
The Blades remain rock bottom with just one point from nine matches.
