Watch Dominic Solanke Score Brilliant Back-Heeled Goal After Manchester United Fall Victim To Bournemouth Press
Dominic Solanke silenced Old Trafford just five minutes into Saturday's Premier League game by scoring a brilliant goal for Bournemouth.
Solanke netted his ninth goal of the season thanks to a cheeky back-heeled finish following a low cross by Lewis Cook.
The goal came after Manchester United fell victim to Bournemouth's high press.
Bruno Fernandes was in United's left-back position when he chipped a hopeful pass towards Scott McTominay, who was unable to control the ball under pressure from Cook.
Cook then sprinted passed Sofyan Amrabat before firing in a cross, which Solanke craftily diverted past Andre Onana.
Bournemouth twice went close to doubling their lead during the first half.
The Cherries had a Marcus Tavernier goal disallowed for offside before Solanke hit the post with a fierce shot that had beaten Onana.
But Bournemouth did get a second... and then a third.
Philip Billing rose above Luke Shaw - who was playing as a center-back - to head home from a Tavernier cross in the 68th minute.
Another Tavernier cross then set up Marcos Senesi to make it 3-0 five minutes later.
