Erling Haaland Becomes First Top-Flight Player In England To Score 50 Goals In Single Season Since 1931

Erling Haaland has become the first player since 1931 to score 50 goals in a single season while playing for a team in England's top division.
Haaland converted a penalty kick three minutes into Manchester City's 2-1 win at Fulham on Sunday after defender Tim Ream had fouled Julian Alvarez.
This was Haaland's 34th Premier League goal of the campaign and it saw him equal the tournament record.
He has also netted 12 times in the Champions League this season, as well as scoring four goals in domestic cup competitions.
