Folarin Balogun Misses Two Penalties As Monaco Lose To Nice
USMNT striker Folarin Balogun had a night to forget on Friday when he missed two penalties for Monaco in a 1-0 loss to Nice.
Balogun's two spot-kick attempts were almost identical and both were saved by Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka.
The former Arsenal striker's penalty failures came in the 12th and 55th minutes of Friday's Ligue 1 clash at the Stade Louis II.
Ex-Chelsea winger Jeremie Boga then struck the only goal of the game in the first minute of added time.
Friday's game was Balogun's second appearance for Monaco since he joined the club from Arsenal on August 31.
Balogun had scored on his debut in a 2-2 draw away at Lorient last weekend.
Monaco - who had been top of the table before Friday's defeat - now have 11 points from their opening six games in Ligue 1 this season.
