Arsenal center-back Gabriel welcomed Endrick to international football this week by knocking the teenager clean off his feet during his first training session with Brazil's senior team.

Seventeen-year-old Endrick is set to make his debut for Brazil against Colombia on Thursday night in what is likely to be a physical battle.

Gabriel did his best to prepare his new teammate for that battle by refusing to go easy on him during a practice game on Tuesday.

Footage of Gabriel barging Endrick off the ball went viral on social media.

One fan commented: "Gabriel doing Endrick a favour here. Showing him first hand what it'll be like to play in Europe when he goes Real Madrid in 8 months time."

Endrick will join Real Madrid from Palmeiras after his 18th birthday in July.

According to a report by GOAL in December last year when Endrick's future move was agreed, Real will pay €72 million in transfer-related fees.

Palmeiras are set to receive €35m up front, plus a further €25m in add-ons. Real must also pay €12m in taxes.
