Brennan Johnson Scores Twice As Nottingham Forest Fight Back To Draw With Everton

Nottingham Forest 2-2 Everton

Everton scored two goals in the first half of a Premier League game for the first time this season but it was not enough to beat Nottingham Forest.

The Toffees' most productive opening 45 minutes since May 2022 saw them lead 2-1 at the City Ground at the mid-match interval.

But Forest fought back to earn a 2-2 draw that keeps them four points above Everton in the EPL table.

A Demarai Gray penalty kick fired the visitors in front against their relegation rivals before Brennan Johnson equalized for Forest in the 19th minute.

Abdoulaye Doucoure restored Everton's lead just before the half-hour mark but Johnson leveled for Forest again 13 minutes from full-time.
